TETSUYA HARA
And yet —
the world is beautiful.

I am, truly, lucky.

Until then, I was nobody.

At twenty-three, I held a camera for the first time.

There are people I could never have met without a camera.

As a photographer, I could stand before them.

I could observe them.

An image rises.

I will keep living with a camera around my neck.

I will go on meeting many people.
